WilliamSmith Fireplaces of SC is a family-owned specialty retailer, installer, and service provider headquartered in North Charleston, South Carolina, operating since 2005. Originally founded by Steve Smith as WilliamSmith Fireplaces & Home Accents, the business focused on servicing custom home builders in the Charleston Metro area.
WilliamSmith built relationships with many of the leading wood-burning and gas fireplace manufacturers to ensure they were not wedded to any specific brand and had the right fireplace for our customer's needs. Steve brought to the business 20 years of experience as a gas journeyman with SC Electric & Gas.
In 2020, WilliamSmith Fireplaces & Home Accents became WilliamSmith Fireplaces of SC and relocated down Dorchester Road to its current location at 6420 Dorchester Road. With the move, WilliamSmith opened a period of growth with a new expanded showroom featuring 35 burning displays, as well as a focus toward growth in geographical area of coverage, manufacturers, services and the employee base.
Currently, WilliamSmith has worked with most reputable manufacturers in the country, as well as custom-designed fireplace manufacturers to deliver the best experience possible for our customers.
